Want to be an instant hero to the libertine Left?
Live-tweet your abortion.
Isn't it called the right of privacy for a reason?
And in case the message about the culture of death isn't enough, listen to her video:
Angie the Anti-theist says that "abortion is not that bad." Unless, of course, you are the child being aborted by your mother, then it probably is that bad.
Also, Angie the Anti-theist assures us that abortion is medically necessary for her because of her health risks, but if pregnancy was such a risk for her, why is she risking her life on contraceptive technology that she says doesn't always work, much less on a pill that is associated with deaths and other health risks? Is this woman suicidal? For her, sex apparently involves an irreducible risk of death, so shouldn't she just stop that risky behavior, which is the source of the threats to her life.
But, again, the most amazing reaction is the crowd of liberals at the Frisky site who declare that Angie the Anti-theist is their hero ... for murdering her unborn child. Presumably, if Angie does away with her four year old son - who she arbitrarily chose to let live - then they will award her with Profile in Courage status.
There is something very sick in this.

Let's see: It's not killing a child, she says, and then she admits that she has a little boy. How did she get that little boy? Did the Stork bring it to her?
Something tells me that she BIRTHED her little boy (just a hunch). And she did so by not aboring him. Oh, but it's not killing a child. Really?
The purest thing about deception is that its victims have no idea when they are under its influnce.
Correction: aboring should be aborting. I wasn't coining a new word.
The little boy became a little boy, a valued and protected member of society at her choice. The second child became a small bean shaped blob of cells at her choice.
What we have here is the triumph of nominalism; there is nothing that makes human beings essentially human beings. Being human is simply a matter of words and convention.
This "woman" represents the type of person who really espouses ANTI. She is not only anti-theist, She is anti woman. The attitudes she espouses are anti everything that is woman.
There is an essay called "Abortion through a feminist lens" by Susan Sherwin, in which she explicitly says (though I don't remember her exact words) that the moral status of the fetus is determined by the pregnant woman's attitude toward it. Sherwin doesn't discuss the general problem of letting someone's moral status be determined by the thoughts or attitudes of others.
For a feminist who sees abortion as anti-feminist, look to Celia Wolf-Devine, in an essay entitled something like "Abortion and the Feminine Voice," in which she argues that abortion is against the essential nature of a woman, in that it involves denial of care to the vulnerable, technological domination of nature (a male thing), a restriction of community to exclude certain individuals (the unborn), and other reasons.

I'm a bit confused. Is she saying she "is having" an abortion, or is she saying, she "has had an abortion"? The reason I ask is because if the fetus has not yet been killed and expelled, then she doesn't know if "it's not that bad." I am not an ardent feminist, but I do believe in life. What she doesn't know is what can happen to her when the fetus dies and she has to expel it, nor does she know the psychological, spiritual, and physical damage this may cause her in the future. I have worked with women who had abortions and it WAS THAT BAD, she just doesn't know it yet. She has been deceived or is in denial. If we follow her, we may find that very soon she will have what is called a "redemption baby," a baby to replace the one she aborted. When I worked with women who have had abortions, many of them were emotional wrecks, many are not able to conceive another child, and many have a hard time coming to terms of what they did. I hope she posts how she felt AFTER her abortion experience. These poor women are often deceived by being told abortion is safer than going full term. Lord help her; I have heard the heart rending cries from women who had abortions...it was so bad that it traumatized me, and I couldn't continue working with them.

As I understand it, Angie the Anti-theist had popped the RU-486 pill and was undergoing its effects when she did this Youtube video.
You point out something interesting. Angie's ostensible reason for this was to educate other women so that they wouldn't be as afraid as she was. This explanation is obviously a socially acceptible pretext for her exhibitionism because, when she did the video, she still didn't know whether there would be no problems. As with any drug, there are rare side-effects. When she did the video, she didn't know whether there would be side-effects. What if she had those side-effects, including death? Would her experience have been educational and taught women not to fear abortions?
Clearly, this was entirely an exercise in exhibitionism.
I, too have worked with many women who have had abortions and in no case was the woman ever relaxed or happy about having chosen it or having been forced into it. In some cases she was being rejected along with her baby by her lover for the final time.
Abortion was revealed to be the origin of a number of her problems, not to mention guilt. The guilt is something that opens up a Pandora's box of hauntings never before dreamed of by the woman.
In all cases an abortion or more than one, was the focal point and genesis for the current emotional and psychological problems the woman was facing. It communicates a tragic rejection to her own essence and her spirit whether she thinks she agrees with the choice or not.
She will answer to a higher power, but I can say this. What about teenage girls or young women who are bullied into having an abortion? Does anyone even realize that this is a reality? So many abortions would be prevented if it were made illegal. So many young people who turn to their parents for support only to be shamed and even threatened into having an abortion or suffer greater consequences do so in fear. What about possibly the fathers in these circumstances who also use threats or intimidation? Same thing. Who is the voice for the child? When will we say enough? So many women who have tortured souls because they were not strong enough to fight for that little baby, Or perhaps a support system. Will God forgive them for being forced into an abortion due to fear, neglect or abuse? Our God is a forgiving God. Man has gone so wrong by not protecting unborn babies and for abusing women. People are just selfish who don't have their babies. We have plenty of people who would love to adopt an unwanted baby. We need to make abortion illegal and stop the Murder of more then one soul.
