The Misogynistic Left, or Bob Beckel is a Human Tooth-ache.

In his various appearances on Foxnews, Beckel seems to have two modes - cheap shot against Conservatives and Republicans and complaining that legitimate concerns by Conservatives and Republicans are cheap shots.  The guy seems to incarnate the idea of "projection."  He also isn't very funny, and his modus operandi seems to be to drop into physical threats when all else fails. His appearance on "Money Rocks" shows him at his best.

The transcript shows:

Geller: I would like to address Mr. Beckel's point. I don't know why you're carrying water for the most radical, intolerant ideology in the world today. There have been 20,000 documented radical Islamic attacks since 9/11. Each one with the imprimatur of a Muslim cleric...

Beckel: You better be very careful. You're a woman, you better be very careful about who you say I carry water for, because you have no idea what you're talking about. And don't start putting me in the middle of your crap!
"You're a woman, you better be very careful about who you say I carry water for..."????

What is that even supposed to mean? Is he threatening her?  Is it some weird sexual connection that Beckel makes to "carrying water"?

What's odd is the willingness of people on the Left to drop into apparently habitual misogyny at the drop of a hat.  Michelle Malkin regularly gets villified by racist and misogynistic comments by leftists.  Sarah Palin was subjected to quasi-serious concern about campaigning with an infant.  Saturday Night Live runs with tropes about a conservative female candidate being a witch.  Needless to say, if rightwingers had dabbled in these kinds of tropes, the outrage would have been the issue for days.
