Canada Conta Mundum

My Canadian partner was disturbed to hear the report that a CBC commentator ascribed the Columbia disaster to American "arrogance." I told him that my feeling was that outside of the media and the intellegentsia, I believed that most Canadians were solidly pro-American. He disagreed, noting petty anti-Americanism practiced in his hometown back in the 70's. I have to defer to him, but Robert J. Sawyer's version of the event is hopefully suggestive that Canadian anti-Americanism is not widespread.
