LeGuin not pleased with Sci-Fi Channels version of "Earthsea."

I missed this Slate article by Ursula K. LeGuin entitled "How the Sci Fi Channel wrecked my books."

Actually, LeGuin's article is fairly disappointing. Her principle concern is that the producers didn't pay attention enough to multi-racial casting. She seems to miss comletely the point that the problem with the translation of her story to film wasn't that it was insufficiently "politically correct;" it was boring.
