Christianity Today carries an amazing story about how North Korea made it a practice of putting ashore in Japan to kidnap Japanese citizens in order to teach North Korean spies about Japanese culture and language. The CT article focuses on Megumi who was 13 years old and returning from tennis practice in 1977 when North Korean agents kidnapped her. Megumi never returned to her parents, but her mother found in her tragedy something redemptive.
