Kelo - The Implications for Fresno.

Kudos to Fresblog, who is parsing the implications of Kelo for Our Fair City. Fresblog specifically notes that developers have been pining about developing Fresno's historic Armenian town - the place of William Saroyan's childhood and the setting of My Name is Aram.

Is there any question about whether this historic community, and one of the few connections that the Central Valley has with literary history, would be levelled for the good of development and a few dollars in campaign contributions?
