There are hate crimes and then there are ironic bits of street theatre carried out by tolerant secularists against people who the Washington Post reports have "many miles to go" before becoming acceptable to East Coast Secular liberals.
The protesters waited until the homily before screaming and spraying fake blood around the congregation.
The homily precedes the Liturgy of the Eucharist, which is the most solemn and holy part of the Catholic mass. The timing, and the fact that it was done on Easter, would constitute a "hate crime" but for the fact that it was - after all - only Catholics and not an official victim group, so don't expect much play on the intolerance and "hatefulness" of the anti-war left from the MSM.
