Leftists really don't like it when other people talk. It gets in the way of their own talking. They get the part of "freedom of speech" that applies to them; they just have trouble allowing it to their opponents. Not to mention the rudeness, insolence, and disrespect to another Senator.
Such a double standard is easy to justify with sufficient self-righteousness, and leftists are getting increasingly self-righteous--and shrill--every day.
As for Al Franken, he has crossed the line from being a comedian to being a joke. I am tempted to say "to Hell with him," but I won't.
I better stop. I am becoming shrill myself.
