Interesting Historical Perspective.
This is a 1941 Harpers magazine article where the author invents a parlor game in speculating about who would be the ones at her posh party that would become Nazis if It Happened Here.
Becoming a Nazi is no longer a "live" option in this day and age; it's like becoming a Mugwump. But it is interesting to see what characteristics were associated with becoming a Nazi when it was a live option; things like ambition and leaving one's social class.
