A History of Violence.

Mother Jones has an interesting time-line of mass shootings over the last 30 years.

It certainly appears that the incidence of mass shootings has not gotten worse over the last 30 years. It's surprising how easy it is to forget these incidents, and how quickly some of them come back to the memory, such as the McDonald's shooting of 1984.

Another thing is the sheer number of government employees, such as postal workers, teachers and soldiers, who go "postal," so to speak.
