So, basically, in Colorado everyone is equal under the law...
Catholic hospital agrees not to cite black-letter law applicable to everyone else even though the law has nothing to do with abortion or the sanctity of life because idiots who know nothing about law decided to use this case as a way of holding the Catholic church up to contempt....
So, let's all sit back and listen to everyone express admiration for the fact that a Catholic hospital has voluntarily chosen to submit to a discriminatory application of the law in order to really, really make the point about the need to protect the unborn from being killed in utero.
So, is the Colorado Supreme Court supposed to ignore Colorado law?
What if the Colorado Supreme Court does decide that fetuses are "people" under the Wrongful Death Act? Will the Catholic-haters really agree that abortion is also illegal?
