If only Hollywood directors could marry.

Waiting for the LA press to investigate...

Let's be honest, the reason the Catholic Church gets trashed is that it is Banquo's Ghost at the Feast - it reminds the people who make movies of their crimes.

As is their practice, Hollywood is far more interested in (drilling for dollars by) "exposing" the 2% of polluted "priests," rather than taking the (sizable) planks from their own ranks.

The true talent in Hollywood has either died off or been run off--what remains seems content to peddle soft porn. And allow George Clooney to shoot tawdry remakes of classics.

I thought the reason they made movies about the unfortunate matters that have occurred in the Catholic Church was that multiple high level figures in the church in various parts of the country continually failed to alert law enforcement of the illegal activities of some of the priests under their supervision and in fact moved such priests to other positions in which children (Catholic children) were put at risk and were in fact molested. I have seen many movies and TV dramas that address the issue of child molestation in our society and most of them had nothing to do with the Catholic church, priests or even Catholic lay-people. The fact is members of the Church hierarchy failed to protect children from known molesters within their own ranks and in some cases actually enabled future instances of molestation. The entire organization is understandably paying the price in terms of reputation and money as a result of these actions by some of its leaders. You're continual repetition of "if only Xxxxx could marry" is irrelevant and rather counter-prodictive to your own cause.

The child molesters allegedly “enabled” by “high ranking officials” of the Catholic Church don’t hold a candle to the reprehensibly vile practices enabled, supported and legislated by the Democratic and Progressive parties, Anonymous. Not even the sins and “unfortunate matters” that have occurred in the Catholic Church have ever been peddled as “alternative live styles.” Seriously, your long-winded verbal flatulence is as dull as your self-righteousness.

But don’t let that shut you up.
