This guy is wrong.

Auto repair shop owner to refuse to serve homosexual customers due to his 'religious beliefs'

If he was Catholic, he would be violating Catholic Teachings.

The Catechism says:

//2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity.//

This discrimination is unjust because homosexuals, Republicans, Shriners and everyone else are equal with respect to the telos of getting their diesel engine repaired, viz, there is no such thing as a "gay engine" or a "Republican engine, there are only engines.  Further, he is not being called up on to make a statement about the normality of the engine in question.

The injustice that this guy undoubtedly feels directed against his faith is not an excuse for him to practice injustice.

That is all.
